Story Craft is a stepped programme that nurtures young writers. Our specialised trainers teach students to identify key elements in literature, and to apply the same techniques. Students will master the use of plot, character, and other literary devices. Story Craft gives children the tools to produce work of publishable quality.

Through the use of fine art as a stimulus, participants learn to develop a sense of imagery and poetic sensibility. As fundamental to the painter as it is to the writer, this often ignored aspect is what sets great writers apart from clever ones. Writers will also learn how a vocabulary is best applied, and to develop the quotidian vocabulary so lacking in non-professional writers.
